Weekly Roundup 8

i. My first term at Camberwell has now finished and, although I've loved it, am still struggling to find a direction. I've also now finished at the school for Christmas - hooray! Hopefully I can use my time off to do some reading, make some drawings, catch up on some sleep and rewrite my project proposal ready for next term.

ii. I've started making drawings for a portrait I've been commissioned to make of the headmaster at the school to mark his retiring at the end of the year. It's incredibly flattering to have been asked but rather daunting - I can't wait to get started.

iii. I visited Oxford to deliver a painting sale and also two small portrait commissions from my two-man exhibition earlier in the year. I'm glad to begin wrapping it all up but also sad to see it go. Overall it was a successful little show with lots of nice feedback and several sales. I'm very proud of it.
